Haig V. Kalbian - Kalbian Hagerty
My firm had the opportunity to work with Nitin Naik on a multi-million dollar arbitration. Nitin was assigned to act as our client liaison. Nitin not only helped our firm in obtaining the relevant documents from key employees but also helped the delay expert to investigate factual data. Nitin's project knowledge in both programme and claims helped us to prepare our case on behalf of the client.
Throughout my time working with Nitin, I was impressed with his pro-activeness and ability to liaise with various people from multicultural backgrounds to do everything needed to get the job done. I would not hesitate to bring Nitin in to work with me and my team again on any construction arbitration/litigation matter. He is the consummate professional who would add instant value.
Nitin flew in from Australia for this arbitration matter which was held in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. His support during preparation and at the arbitration hearing helped us to effectively liaise with our client and effectively prepare what was a complicated matter. The arbitration case ended in favor of our client winning significant award despite the fact that our client was the Respondent and the counterclaim that Nitin helped my law firm cobble together had inherent weaknesses. I give Nitin great credit for this improbable result.
I would highly recommend Nitin's unique skills and experience to the claims practitioners who have a similar need in managing the claims disputes in the construction industry.
